Our tribute to Alan Partridge in football shirt form features an embroidered badge in the style of his self-designed coat-of-arms (which itself features a pear tree, a microphone, a partridge and a set of samurai swords, along with the Latin motto "cognoscens me aha cognoscens te" - "knowing me, knowing you, aha"). The badge is also included as an all-over repeating pattern over the full shirt, which is printed in green and maroon to match Alan's famous blazer and tie.
The main shirt sponsor is Linton Travel Tavrern; the hotel in which Alan lived following his divorce, while the sleeve sponsor is the logo of Pear Tree Productions; his production company that goes bust when he loses his TV work. The number seven on the rear pays homage to his love of James Bond while at the bottom of the rear of his shirt we have included his autograph along with his classic Partridgeism: "back of the net!"
