Inspired by Oasis: Gallagher "Wonderwall" Football Shirt
The design of our Oasis shirt is inspired by a bespoke shirt designed for Noel Gallagher to wear during a charity football match in 1996. Our main sponsor, "Wonderwall", is modelled after the Oasis logo. Not to exclude Liam Gallagher, the embroidered badge features a tambourine (his oft-used instrument). We've chosen 'Manchester Supersonics' for our fictitious football team, after the Oasis song "Supersonic" and their home city. Also from Manchester are the three stripes, representative of Manchester's three rivers.
On the left arm are the lyrics 'Where were you while we were getting high?' in a circular motif. On the back, the name Gallagher (which one? We'll leave you to decide) and the number 91—the year of Oasis' inception. The shirt is made complete with the lyrics 'Don't look back in anger'.
