The Netflix TV show Ozark is the source of inspiration for our "Ozark FC" football shirt. The embroidered badge is based on the famous O from the show's opening credits, while the main shirt sponsor "Missouri Belle Casino" is the name of the riverboat run by the Byrde's as a front for the Navarros cartel. The shirt itself is black, befitting the theme and ambience of the show, with a pattern featuring a stylised map of the Lake of the Ozarks printed in red.
Both sleeve sponsors feature businesses that appear in the show: the Lazy-O Motel which is purchased by Ruth Langmore with her profits from working with the Byrdes, and the Lickety Splitz strip club, another money-laundering front operation owned by the Byrdes.
The rear of the shirt features the name "Byrde", for Marty (or possibly for Wendy, Charlotte or Jonah if you prefer), and the number 3 (in tribute to Three Langmore). Above the name appears an image of two starlings; metaphors that appear regularly in the series for invasive species which disrupt the natural order of things.
