The embroidered badge features a stylised Terminator skull complete with red eyes and the legend "est 1984" in reference to the film's year of release. The main shirt sponsor is the logo of Cyberdyne Systems; the technology firm that developed Skynet which ultimately led to the rise of the machines and the brutal war against humanity. The sleeve sponsors are "TechNoir", the Los Angeles club where Sarah Connor takes refuge from the Terminator before he enters begins shooting, and "Big Jeff's", the family restaurant where Sarah Connor works before the Terminator arrives.
The rear of the shirt features the name "Connor" and the number 3 (in reference to the 3 Sarah Connors listed in the LA telephone directory). Below the neck on the rear are the words which became first the Terminator's and then Arnold Schwarzenegger's catchphrase: "I'll be back".
