Inspired by The Specials: Terry Hall Football Shirt
A two-tone football shirt celebrating those pioneers of Ska, The Specials. Our shirt is printed in a chessboard pattern, similar to that featured regularly on the label's branding, whilst the front sponsor "Rudeboy" is both a nod to the Londsdale clothing brand associated with the Ska subculture, and the name with which many of those who followed the music referred to themselves. The embroidered badge features our interpretation of the Tow Tone man, whilst the name, "Ghost Town FC", refers to one of The Specials' most famous songs.
One sleeve carries the sponsor Pearl’s Cafe, one of The Specials' 1980s releases, whilst the other has the sponsor "AKA" (which the band occasionally used as a suffix to their name). On the back, we have the name Hall - for the late Terry Hall, frontman of the band - and the number 2 (again, referencing the Two Tone label that was at the forefront of ska culture). A small chessboard pattern above the name completes the look.
PLEASE NOTE: WE GET NEW STOCK OF THESE SHIRTS PRINTED ON AN ONGOING BASIS, SO IF YOUR REQUIRED SIZE IS CURRENTLY OUT OF STOCK PLEASE ORDER YOUR CHOSEN SIZE LISTED AS "PRE-ORDER - AWAITING STOCK". WE WILL THEN DISPATCH YOUR SHIRT AS SOON AS WE RECEIVE NEW STOCK (WHICH WILL USUALLY TAKE ANYTHING FROM A COUPLE OF DAYS TO 3 WEEKS, DEPENDING ON PRODUCTION).
