A football shirt inspired by Martin Scorsese's 2013 epic The Wolf of Wall Street; itself based on the memoir of the same name by former stockbroker Jordan Belfort. The shirt takes its yellow colour from the film poster, with a dollar bill all-over repeating pattern representing the obsession with wealth that drives the plot. The embroidered badge features a wolf ‘riding’ the Wall Street bull, with the year 1989 below being the founding date of Stratton Oakmont, Belfort's company.
Stratton Oakmont Inc. itself is the main shirt sponsor - the controversial (to say the least) over-the-counter brokerage house which is at the centre of the story. The sleeve sponsor, Lemmon 714, is the brand of Quaaludes that Donnie and Jordan take, while the opposite sleeve features the US flag with dollar signs taken from the film poster. The name on the back is, of course, Belfort for Jordan Belfort, while the number on the back is 1 (billion $).
