Inspired by Kasabian: Serge Pizzorno Football Shirt
Our football shirt for Empire Football Club, inspired by the music of Kasabian. Due to the band's well-known love of Leicester City, we have paid homage to them with the blue of our shirt design. The shirt pattern comes from the negative space on the "Velociraptor" album artwork, and the stripes are a nod to ultraface from the band's self-titled debut album (ultraface makes an appearance himself, too, on the back of the shirt).
The playing card club on the embroidered badge references the Empire album cover, whilst it's design and font also takes inspiration from Leicester City's. On the sleeves, we have our version of the circular artwork from "Switchblade Smile", and the initials of 2017 album "For Crying Out Loud" bordered at each side by the iconic tears from the album artwork. On the rear the number 97 is in tribute to the year of Kasabian's formation, with the name Pizzorno for Serge Pizzorno. We also pay homage to Pizzorno's iconic fashion with our main sponsor, "les-tah", as seen on Pizzorno's striking, white stage tees.
