The hooped pattern on the shirt includes multiple overlapping handwritten versions of the word "libertine" similar to Pete and Carl's shared tattoos, while the front sponsor is "vertigo" (another song reference, this time the opening track from Up The Bracket).
The rear of the shirt features the name "Doherty" and the number 97 in a similar font and style to the band logo, while the sleeve sponsors and bottom of the back of the shirt also feature references to famous Libertines songs: Radio America, Vallance Road (Up The Bracket) and truncheons and shields (Time for Heroes).
