Inspired by Stranger Things: Jim Hopper Football Shirt
We're celebrating Stranger Things with our Hawkins F.C. football kit. The embroidered Hawkins F.C. badge features a stylised Demogorgon head chewing down on a football, and the number 1983 for Season 1's beginning, November 1983. The kit itself draws inspiration from the show's blue and red aesthetic. There was no better choice than Scoops Ahoy for our main sponsor, the ice cream parlour that fan-favourite Steve Harrington works at in Season 3, along with his sarcastic co-worker and best friend Robin Buckley. Scoops Ahoy can be found in Starcourt Mall (one of our sleeve sponsors) until its destruction in 1985. Our other sleeve sponsor is Surfer Boy Pizza, the pizza shop manned by Argyle.
On the back, we have the logo for Eddie Munson's Hellfire Club at the bottom of the shirt, and the catchphrase "Friends Don't Lie" as said by El at the top. We couldn't complete the shirt without a reference to Jim Hopper styled to match the show's logotype, and we're certain we don't have to explain why we picked the number 11.
PLEASE NOTE: WE GET NEW STOCK OF THESE SHIRTS PRINTED ON AN ONGOING BASIS, SO IF YOUR REQUIRED SIZE IS CURRENTLY OUT OF STOCK PLEASE ORDER YOUR CHOSEN SIZE LISTED AS "PRE-ORDER - AWAITING STOCK". WE WILL THEN DISPATCH YOUR SHIRT AS SOON AS WE RECEIVE NEW STOCK (WHICH WILL USUALLY TAKE ANYTHING FROM A COUPLE OF DAYS TO 3 WEEKS, DEPENDING ON PRODUCTION).
