Inspired by Starsky and Hutch: David Starsky Football Shirt
Taking its cue from the iconic Ford Gran Torino, which also features as a little detail on the back, Zebra Three F.C. shirt pays tribute to a classic cop show: Starsky and Hutch. Inspired by detective badges across California, with its colours updated to match the shirt design, our embroidered badge features a zebra in place of the customary American eagle. The team name is taken from the pair's call sign, Zebra Three.
Our main sponsor could be nothing other than Huggy Bear's, whose eponymous owner is a fan-favourite. Matching the in-show type treatment as closely as possible, Huggy Bear's boasts cocktails, pinball and pool. Open all night for your enjoyment. On the sleeves, we have The Mellow Yellow, the de facto headquarters of Ruby Solenko's burglary ring, where Starsky's ex-girlfriend and fellow officer, Helen Davidson had been working undercover and ultimately murdered in season 1 episode 10; and City Trucking Corp., a trucking company that features in three episodes and may b the most featured business, aside from Huggy Bear's.
In the typographic style of the show's logo, we have the name Starsky, for Sergeant David Michael Starsky, and the number 75 for the show's first airing.
PLEASE NOTE: WE GET NEW STOCK OF THESE SHIRTS PRINTED ON AN ONGOING BASIS, SO IF YOUR REQUIRED SIZE IS CURRENTLY OUT OF STOCK PLEASE ORDER YOUR CHOSEN SIZE LISTED AS "PRE-ORDER - AWAITING STOCK".
