Inspired by the cult music TV show "The Old Grey Whistle Test", our football shirt design is printed in a dark grey colour with the BBC 2 logo used from 1979 to 1986 as the main shirt sponsor. The embroidered badge features the name "Whistle Test FC", the famous "starkicker" logo, and the years 1971-1988 (the original broadcast run of the TV show).
We have opted for the name "Harris" on the back, in tribute to the legendary "Whispering Bob" Harris who was the show's presenter from 1972-1978; the name and number are in a font that approximates the show titles. The sleeves bear the legends "Stage A" and "Stage B" in reference to the two stages whist the show used in its later years, while the bottom of the back features another starkicker logo alongside the text "mmmm - really nice".
