Our football shirt inspired by Wes Craven's classic 1984 slasher horror film "A Nightmare on Elm Street". The shirt pattern is printed all over in the red and dark green horizontal hoops of Freddy Krueger's famous jumper. The embroidered badge includes the name Springwood Blades Football Club, named after the town where the film is set, and features the bladed glove and a football as part of the logo.
The main front shirt sponsor is the logo of Westin Hills Psychiatric Hospital, which features in some of the films where they study patients' dreams. The sleeve sponsor is Penny Bros. Auto Salvage, the junkyard where Freddy’s body is originally dumped after he is killed by the town’s parents.
The rear of the shirt features the name Krueger and the number 84 (the year of release of the first film). Other details on the shirt include Freddy's famous fedora hat, slash marks from his blades across the back, and the lyrics to the rhyme sung at the beginning of the film; "One, two, Freddy's coming for you..."
