Our deep grey design takes its colour and shapes from "The Colour and the Shape" album cover (see what we did there?), using a simplified version of the grey orb and line motif, while the FFFC embroidered badge reimagines their iconic round logo just slightly to accommodate the extra letters. Across the chest is our main sponsor, “Everlong” - on of the band's most popular sons - styled after the classic Gibson guitar logo, a nod to Dave Grohl’s guitar of choice.
On one sleeve we have a Buck Rogers-style ray gun (inspired by the Foo Fighters debut album cover), and on the other, a Footoos mint logo; a tongue-in-cheek throwback to the "Big Me" music video and its Mentos parody. The name Grohl was the obvious choice, and the number 94 on the back marks the year Foo Fighters formed. To finish it off, a line from "My Hero" at the bottom. "There goes my hero" we'll watch you as you go.
