Inspired by The Sopranos: Tony Soprano Football Shirt
Our football shirt tribute to one of the greatest characters in television history: Tony Soprano. The embroidered logo is of the fictitious Newark Saints Football Club (the name itself being inspired by the spin-off movie "The Many Saints of Newark", with the year of founding, 1967, being the year that the film begins). The main sponsor on the front of the shirt is the logo of Soprano's Barone Sanitation front company, while the smaller sleeve sponsor is the logo of the Bada-Bing, the strip club owned and chiefly operated by Silvio Dante, Tony's consigliere. There is a duck printed at the bottom of the back of the shirt, in reference to the ones which are a constant presence throughout the series (and widely considered a metaphor for family), while the back of the collar features a gun similar to that in The Sopranos' logo. The pattern of the shirt is inspired by one of the polo shirts worn by the protagonist in the series, while the name and number on the rear, "Soprano 99", reference Tony Soprano himself and the year that the series started (as well as the year that Tony becomes an underboss in the DiMeo crime family).
This shirt has been produced by Sigur Sportswear exclusively for RedMolotov.
