Inspired by Queen: Freddie Mercury Football Shirt
Freddie Mercury's iconic yellow buckle jacket, as worn at Wembley in 1986 and throughout Queen's European "Magic" tour, has been given the football shirt treatment in our fictitious Killer Queens football shirt. Our embroidered badge is made complete with nods to the lyrics of "Killer Queen" with stick of dynamite and a laserbeam, and the year of the song's release, 1974. Alongside the badge, "Killer Queen" is also featured on one sleeve with the phrase "Guaranteed to blow your mind".
The other sleeve pays homage to the incomparable "Bohemian Rhapsody" with a mock-vintage logo for Thunderbolt & Lightning by the Galileo Figaro Magnifico Co.
Our main sponsor is, of course, Radio Ga Ga—styled as a nod to the BBC radio logo at the time of Queen's first live session.
The band's formation in 1970 is the basis for our shirt number, with Mercury as our featured player (naturally). Our final tribute takes the form of a Break Free logo at the bottom of the shirt's reverse, featuring a graphic of Mercury's iconic wigged "I Want To Break Free" music video styling.
This shirt is being produced by Sigur Sportswear exclusively for RedMolotov.
