Our East End Boys FC kit takes its name from the 1986 single West End Girls. The embroidered badge takes a cue from the single's cover and its striking typography. The kit design itself is our interpretation of the album cover for 1993's Very, the band's fifth studio album.
The main sponsor, Domino Dance Club, is a nod to the 1988 single, Domino Dancing.
On the sleeves, we have more tributes to the band's iconic artworks: firstly, the blue and yellow helmets Tennant and Lowe don on the cover of Go West, and secondly, the geometric cross triptych from Love etc.
On the back, the intro to the iconic 1987 single It's a Sin. The intro itself was taken from the Apollo 11 launch broadcast.
The kit is complete with the name Tennant, for vocalist Neil Tennant, and the number 81 for the band's formation.
