Printed in New York Police Department blue, our Die Hard football shirt tribute is the shirt of the New York Detonators (motto: "Yippie Ki-Yay", of course). The embroidered badge on the front is inspired by the NYPD badge which John McClane would have worn, while the shirt pattern features the architectural plans of 2121 Avenue of the Stars (formally Fox Plaza), the real-life building in Los Angeles that was portrayed as Nakatomi Plaza in the 1988 film. The logo of the Nakatomi Corporation features as the main shirt sponsor, while on the sleeve is a zippo lighter similar to the one that John uses to light his way when navigating the building's air ducts.
On the rear of the shirt is the number 30 (referencing the 30th floor of the tower where the hostages were kept) and the name McClane.
