When opposing a 1992 Iowa equal-rights amendment, Pat Robertson, an American televangelist, businessman and ultra-conservative political activist, asserted the following about feminism:
"The feminist agenda is not about equal rights for women. It is about a socialist, anti-family political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism and become lesbians."
Now, we don't know about you but other than sounding like something out of the 1800s, we think it all sounds pretty fun to us. Though, we've taken out the bit about killing children. Killing children is not cool.
