Our exclusive tribute to Labour Party politician, and leading light in the foundation of the National Health Service: Aneurin "Nye" Bevan. This football shirt features a black design with a rainbow pattern across the chest. The embroidered badge features the Labour Party logo used from 1924 to 1983 incorporating a torch, shovel and quill symbol whilst the sponsor on the front is the logo of the NHS, of which Bevan was the principal architect. On the left sleeve is the logo of the South Wales Miners' Federation to which Bevan belonged during his time working as a coal miner. The rear of the shirt includes the name "Bevan" above the number 48 - the year in which the National Health Service was founded. Finally, at the bottom of the back of the shirt is the following quote from Bevan: "The NHS will last as long as there are folk left with the faith to fight for it".
