FC Mordor: a team that would undoubtedly give the Leeds United side of the 1970s a run for their money in terms of their use of the dark arts of football. Our football shirt tribute to the Land of Shadow includes an embroidered badge with a stylised Eye of Sauron; with 1600 being a reference to the year in the Second Age when Sauron built the fortress of Barad-dûr. The repeated all-over pattern is inspired by the architecture of Minas Morgul, the tower where the eye looks out from.
The front sponsor is "Mount Doom Custom Metal Forging" making reference to where the ring is forged (and destroyed). The sleeve sponsor "Nazgûl Asset Recovery" is inspired by the servants of the Dark Lord Sauron sent to recover the ring from Frodo. On the rear of the shirt is the name Sauron, and the number nine, after the Black Riders, the nine corrupted servants of Sauron. Finally, underneath the collar, we have a hidden eye of Sauron revealed when flipped up.
