Day of the Dead Kids' T-Shirt - Band Was £9.99 Now £3.99! : A wicked t-shirt design based on Mexico's Day of the Dead celebrations featuring two "day of the dead" skeletons playing guitar and drums, the latter of which feature the initials NSC for "Nicaragua Solidarity Campaign". On November 2nd, gatherings, parades and festivities are held to remember and celebrate the lives of friends and family members who have died. Models of skeletons are built, often life-size, and dressed accordingly; for example to look like a seller of rice, a business man, a musician and so on. Other traditions include building private altars honouring the deceased, using sugar skulls, marigolds, and the favourite foods and beverages of the departed, and visiting graves with these as gifts. Printed on a black t-shirt, this t-shirt is being sold on behalf of the Nicaragua Solidarity Campaign.
