The protagonist, known only as Josef K., awakes to find himself trapped in a nightmare. He is arrested, but is unable to establish what he is accused of having done, or how he can go about proving his innocence. The famous opening line of the novel Someone must have made a false accusation against Josef K., for he was arrested one morning without having done anything wrong is used on this design along with an image of Kafka's Man at Table sketch.
