Al Front Spanish Civil War Poster T-Shirt. A t-shirt design dating from the Spanish Civil War of 1936-39. This t-shirt depicts a stylised recruiting poster for the CNT (Confederacion Nacional del Trabajo) and FAI (Federacion Anarquista Iberica), both of which were Republican organisations in Catalonia. The text literally reads To The Front.

Salvador Allende T-Shirt. The first Marxist leader to gain power via democratic means, Allende was elected President of Chile in 1970. His socialist policies, and his relationship with Fidel Castro in Cuba, brought him into dispute with the capitalist world, most notably the United States, and resulted in the military coup of September 11th 1973 where he was overthrown by an allegedly western-backed General Pinochet (whose death squads subsequently murdered up to 1000 political opponents in the following months). The quote on this design ¡Viva Chile! ¡Viva el pueblo! ¡Vivan los trabajadores! (Long live Chile! Long live the people! Long live the workers!) are the closing lines of his final radio address on the morning of his death.
