Infamy! Infamy! They’ve All Got It In For Me!

January 21st, 2009

Hello, and happy “Bye Bye Bush” Week! We’re bringing you ten superb new t-shirt designs this week, on subjects as eclectic as feminism, atheism, corporate greed and corruption, 1970s rock music and Carry On films. We hope you like them all!

Stephen Fry T-Shirt

Stephen Fry T-ShirtFeaturing a stylised image of the face of the great Stephen John Fry composed of a quote of his describing his philosophy of his purpose in life: “I am a lover of truth, a worshipper of freedom, a celebrant at the altar of language and purity and tolerance.” Stephen Fry: author, actor, wit, genius.

Feminist Fist T-Shirt

Feminist Fist T-ShirtThis feminist symbol combines the hand mirror and comb of the Roman goddess Venus that is often used to represent the female sex, with the fist symbol used to symbolise defiance, revolution and solidarity.

Russell’s Teapot T-Shirt

Russell's Teapot T-ShirtWe’re not sure if we really believe in Russell’s Teapot, but then we’re not sure we believe in God either. And, let’s face it, both are equally plausible.

Kenneth Williams T-Shirt

Kenneth Willams T-ShirtOh, matron! The beloved star of countless Carry On films and camp cult British icon, Kenneth Williams is shown here accompanied by the Carry On Cleo quote voted the greatest one liner in cinema history: “Infamy! Infamy! They’ve all got it in for me!”

Dorothy Parker T-Shirt

Dorothy Parker T-ShirtPurveyor of one of the most caustic wits in living memory, Dorothy Parker was a writer, poet and broadcaster. Blacklisted as a communist, honoured for her civil rights work, this t-shirt design features her riposte to her editor when he contacted her on honeymoon about some unfinished work.

Enjoy Prog-Rock T-Shirt

Enjoy Prog-Rock T-ShirtFrom Pink Floyd to Yes, via ELO, Rush and Jethro Tull. Grow your hair, wear a kaftan and enjoy Prog Rock.

Enron T-Shirt

Enron T-ShirtThe potent symbol of the nadir of the corporate moral vacuum. Greed is good, right? We’ve jazzed up the classic logo of the world’s premier corrupt megacorp by printing in in silver glitter. Nice.

Nine Bob Note T-Shirt

Nine Bob Note T-ShirtAs bent as a nine-bob note. Or, in this case, a nine pound note. Life-sized and based on traditional Bank of England currency before they shrunk it to half the size.

Milk Has Gotta Lotta Bottle T-Shirt

Milk Has Gotta Lotta Bottle T-ShirtAn advertising slogan no doubt familiar to anyone who was a child in the early 80s. Nice cold, ice cold milk.

Beware of the Black Hole T-Shirt

Beware of the Black Hole T-ShirtWe’re not exactly sure what this t-shirt is trying to tell us, other than steer clear of unimaginably powerful gravitational fields that have crossed the event horizon of general relativity. Yes, indeed, be careful.

RIP Craig Hodson-Walker

January 10th, 2009
Craig - RIP

Craig - RIP

Everywhere we go evil is amongst us, and last Friday it touched us here at T-34. On Friday Craig was shot and killed whilst defending his father from attackers at their family Post Office in Worcestershire whilst his father Ken was also shot in the leg. Ken is stable as far as we know at the moment.

This is the Post Office we have used for the last 5 years, and the family that we have got to know so well. Every order dispatched in this time has gone through their hands and so this is such a great loss. Craig was only 29, always had a wry grin on his face when he saw us turn up with our sacks of t-shirts and was the young hub of the Post Office. He knew every part of his job so well and was so helpful and professional and always dealt with us with such a great attitude.

They became part of our daily lives and things will never be quite the same. Craig and Ken used to love to embarrass me in front of a long queue by shouting “Phil, your naughty mag is in” when I picked up my copy of Golf Punk or “Phil, you owe us two grand” when we were in credit! They worked together, worked as a team, they worked hard, they worked fair and they were a family. If you can spread some love today, to anyone you want to, just do it. Our hearts go out to Judy and Ken.

Craig RIP.

Did You Know: We Also Make Cricket T-Shirts?

As you may, or may not, know, RedMolotov.com is no longer our only t-shirt site. Basically, two of us set-up Red Molotov, one who loves cricket, the other who likes nothing better on his days off than spoiling a good walk by chasing a small ball around a large field. We’ve therefore currently got two other t-shirts websites, both of which are offering the same great 3-for-2 deal throughout the whole of January.

BodylineTShirts.com – everything from the cricket fan. From KP to TMS. From LBW to CMJ. And from DL to… er…. Monty Panesar.

BornToBogey – funny golf t-shirts for the bandit golfer.
