The 1985 Snooker World Championship final remains one of the most enthralling sporting contests of modern times. A record British television audience of 18.5 million watched Dennis Taylor and Steve Davis battle it out late into the night. As midnight came and went the two men ended up level on 17 frames each, and the World Championship came down to the last black of the last frame. Steve Davis was 18 points ahead with just 22 remaining on the table but Taylor cleared the brown, blue and pink. There then followed 4 shots of unbelievable tension as Taylor, Davis, Taylor again and then Davis again missed the black. On his third attempt Dennis Taylor sank the black; with the World Championship won he raised his cue above his head and danced a jig, wagging his finger in sheer delight at the conclusion of an incredible sporting moment. Steve Davis and Dennis Taylor talk us through the entire final frame, with the drama and tension building up to the amazing finale. This DVD is in Region 2 format and therefore should work on all DVD players in Europe, the Middle East and South Africa as well as multi-region DVD players. It has an Exempt classification. Running time: 60 minutes.

The Trial by Franz Kafka is one of the greatest pieces of dystopian literature. The protagonist, known only as Josef K., awakes to find himself trapped in a nightmare. He is arrested, but is unable to establish what he is accused of having done, or how he can go about proving his innocence. The famous opening line of the novel “Someone must have made a false accusation against Josef K., for he was arrested one morning without having done anything wrong” is used on this design along with an image of Kafka’s “Man at Table” sketch.

Eric Bristow dominated the Darts scene in the 1980s, winning five Embassy World Championships. His first victory came in 1980 when he beat crowd favourite, and established darts champion, Bobby George. We join the action as it is evenly poised at 3-3, the young Bristow takes control from that point onwards. In front of a capacity, and very raucous, crowd Bristow displays the talent that took him to the very top of world darts – eventually winning 5 sets to 3. The ‘Crafty Cockney’ had arrived, and a new era had begun in world darts, Bristow remained the World number one until 1987. This DVD is in Region 2 format and therefore should work on all DVD players in Europe, the Middle East and South Africa as well as multi-region DVD players. It has an Exempt classification. Running time: 45 minutes.

Alfred Hitchcock, the iconic film director and producer, was responsible for such cinematic masterpieces as The 39 Steps, Dial M for Murder, Rear Window and The Birds. He is seen here with a clapper board from Psycho – possibly his most famous work.

Some of the best British fighters of recent times are featured in all their awesome, blockbusting glory. There’s vintage action from ‘The Dark Destroyer’ Nigel Benn and of course his biggest rival Chris Eubank. This is Eubank as you may never have seen him before, in punishing, brutal form. Ask Renaldo Dos Santos, who Eubank knocks out with the first jaw crunching punch of the fight! There’s classic Naseem Hamed, thrilling big punching from a young Lennox Lewis and lethal combinations from the flying fists of Herbie Hide. Also included is one of the most incredible knockouts in boxing history as Herol ‘Bomber’ Graham gets his chin in the way of a Julian Jackson thunderbolt! It’s 101 minutes of knockout boxing action – a must for all fight fans. This DVD is in Region 2 format and therefore should work on all DVD players in Europe, the Middle East and South Africa as well as multi-region DVD players. It has an Exempt classification. New T-Shirts Books T-Shirts, DVDs, Film T-Shirts

Red Molotov recently sponsored two of our intrepid Darwenian (that is Darwen, not Darwin – evolution has given then little but a sixth finger in those parts) explorer friends who took it upon themselves to climb Kilimanjaro – the tallest freestanding mountain in the world. This feat they achieved a few weeks back, in the process raising thousands of pounds for VSO.

Sue and Gill faithfully trained for months and then trekked for days up the requited 4600m elevation. And also kindly wore a fine selection of our t-shirts whilst doing so.

On reaching the summit they promptly fought back the altitude sickness and donned a couple of our t-shirts.

This week we’ve brought out nine new designs on a variety of subjects ranging from ID cards and Tibet to Del and Rodney Trotter.

We have again taken influence from one of the finest novels ever written for our first t-shirt design. George Orwell’s 1984 is paraphrased here as the Ministry of Truth attempts to convince the population that Oceania has always been at war with Eastasia as an image of Donald Rumsfeld and Saddam Hussain flickers on the screen. Perpetual war come true. We also have parodied Andy Warhol’s Campbell’s Soup screen-prints in out tribute to the ubiquitous Tesco. The Tesco’s Value beans in tomato sauce tin makes an ideal pop-culture reference for the 21st century.

We have had a number of requests in the past for a Tibet t-shirt. We’ve incorporated the Tibetan flag into our Free Tibet design. Just don’t try to wear it when you go to shout at Seb Coe, et al running along with the Olympic torch. Unless you fancy being accosted by numerous blue-tracksuited goons. We also feel very strongly about the encroachment of the database and surveillance society, particularly in the UK. The UK government’s persistence with implementing a universal ID card scheme on which dozens of pieces of personal data will be kept with the express purpose of monitoring the population as a whole is, for obvious reasons, an idea with which we are extremely uncomfortable.

We’ve also got two new designs inspired by one of our favourite television programmes ever: Brass Eye. The Nonce Sense (”I’m talking nonce-sense”) t-shirt is based on the one worn by Phil Collins on the infamous Paedogeddon episode (look it up on YouTube if you have not seen it), whilst the Say No To Cake design made a brief appearance in the Drugs episode.

Finally, we’ve got designs based on classic TV shows old and new. Sir Alan Sugar of the Apprentice fame is pictured in his younger days, complete with “you’re fired” catchphrase. Rodney and Del’s Trotters Independent Trading sign from Olnly Fools and Horses is immortalised on a t-shirt. And finally, Jimmy Saville’s legendary “Jim Fixed It For Me” logo is available to all those who wrote-in asking to meet Giant Haystacks or Evil Knievel but never received a reply back.
